Terms

The deal

Paneo is a product of Thoughtminers. By creating an account or linking a screen, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Your account

• One account per person. Keep access to your email safe: a sign-in link is all it takes to get in.
• You're responsible for what happens in your account and on the screens you link.
• If you think someone else got in, unlink your screens and tell us.

Plans and prices

• The Free plan is free, with unlimited screens and boards. We don't charge per screen.
• Paid plans aren't available yet. When they are, their price and what they include will be shown before you pay, and you'll be able to cancel at any time.
• If we ever change what Free includes, we'll tell you ahead of time.

Your content

• Your boards, settings and the links you add stay yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them and show them on your screens.
• Only add calendars, photos and links you're allowed to use, and remember that anyone near a screen can see it.

Using Paneo fairly

Don't use Paneo to break the law, to harm or spy on people, to send spam, to attack or overload our servers or anyone else's, or to get into accounts or screens that aren't yours. Webhooks, modules and custom CSS are for your own boards. If someone does any of this, we may suspend their account.

Other services

Tiles show data from other services, such as your calendar provider, MET Norway for weather and Unsplash for photos. Their terms apply to their data, and we can't promise they'll always be available or accurate.

Availability

We work to keep Paneo running and your screens showing your boards, but Paneo is provided as it is, without guarantees. Screens keep their last board if they lose the connection for a while, but don't rely on Paneo for anything critical, like alarms or emergencies.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Thoughtminers isn't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Paneo, and ask us to delete your account, at any time. We may close accounts that break these terms, and if we ever shut Paneo down, we'll give you notice first.

Changes

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and, for anything significant, email you before the change takes effect.
