Questions
Why don't you charge per screen?
Because a screen costs us almost nothing. Paneo fetches your data once per account and every screen reads that same copy, so a fourth screen adds no work. What costs us money is fetching data often and pushing live notifications, so that's what the paid plans are for.
How does that compare to DAKboard?
On DAKboard, 4 screens on the Essential plan come to about $13 a month, around $156 a year (dakboard.com/pricing, October 28, 2026). On Paneo they're free, with custom layouts included.
Do I need special hardware?
No. Any screen with a web browser works: a tablet, a smart TV, a spare monitor with a computer, a Raspberry Pi or an old iPad.
Can I pay for Pro today?
